Arcus Lime Plaster — Fine
Fine lime plaster is a mineral-based decorative finish formulated with hydrated lime, fine aggregate and proprietary additives. It is designed for refined architectural surfaces where subtle texture, depth and natural variation are desired.
Met Exteriors supplies and installs Arcus Lime Plaster Fine for feature walls, fireplaces, range hoods, entrances and other high-end interior applications, as well as selected exterior applications where the substrate and complete assembly are appropriate.
Unlike conventional paint, the character of lime plaster comes from the material itself and the applicator’s finishing technique. Samples and mock-ups are important when colour and texture are critical to the design.
Fine Lime Plaster Applications
Fine Lime Plaster can be considered for interior feature walls, fireplace surrounds, range hoods, architectural niches, commercial feature spaces and other decorative surfaces. Exterior use requires a compatible substrate, base system and weather-management details suitable for the project conditions.
Substrate preparation is critical. Existing movement, moisture problems or unstable surfaces should be corrected before the decorative plaster is applied.
Fine Lime Plaster Colours
Available lime-plaster colours should be reviewed using physical samples whenever possible. Screen appearance varies by device, and the finished colour is also influenced by texture, lighting, application technique and natural mineral variation.
